Set Up Your Pulley Like a Pro

Have you been straining your brain to get your new pulley attached to your rack? We have step by step instructions on how to get this attachment working in no time!

Setting Up Your Pulley

1. Make sure you have everything ready to go: You will have a pulley strap, pulley wheel, pulley cable, handle, weight peg, and 3 carabiners.

2. Attach the pulley to the pull up bar using the pulley strap and one carabiner.

a. If you have a circular band, loop the strap over the pull-up bar and pull the back half under the bar and through the front half of the loop. Attached the carabiner to the new loop and the pulley wheel.

b. If you have a straight band with rings on either end, put the strap over the bar and connect the strap and the pulley wheel with a carabiner (the carabiner should be connected to both ends of the strap and the wheel)

3. String the cable through the pulley wheel.

4. Attach the weight peg to the cable on the back of the pulley wheel with a carabiner.

5. Attach your handles to the cable on the front of the pulley wheel with a carabiner.

You're All Set!

To add weight, unclip the weight peg and add your weight—reattach the weight peg when you are ready to start grinding.
